We started life in 1998 under the branding of Bean Around The World... we started with good coffee. Our first menu was written by Mr Joylan Ade who we flew in from British Colombia and remains a close friend to this day. Over the years due to constant demand the menu has never changed it has merely evolved and is as refined and popular today as it has ever been.

In 2002 the cafe was taken over by one of its founding directors Mr George Robertson, it was re-branded Cafejac, the jac being short for Jersey Arts Centre where the cafe is located.

Our aim at Cafejac is to provide you with fresh fast healthy food and drinks at a price level that is accessible to all, served by relaxed yet attentive staff in a friendly social enviroment, and most of the time we get it right..
